Potter Valley Elementary School
  California Distinguished School

Potter Valley Elementary School is located on Main Street in beautiful Potter Valley, CA, just north of Ukiah in Mendocino County. It is a K-6 school and is on the same site as the middle and high school. The Potter Valley Community Unified School District is comprised of this elementary school, a state preschool, a middle school, a high school, a community day school, and a continuation high school. The valley's population is small (approximately 3,000) but the community has supported its own schools for almost 100 years. As the recreational and cultural center of the valley, the school brings the community together.

Potter Valley fosters a culture of academic excellence. Its small size allows for an unusual level of individual attention for all students. The school's staff is committed to creating a learning experience that fully develops the potential of each child.
