PVCUSD School Board meetings are typically the 2nd Wednesday of the month, with open session beginning at 6:30p.m. in the High School Library. An agenda will be posted online and at each school site the Friday before each regular board meeting. The High School Library is located at the front of the school on the far west side of the school buildings (i.e., if you're facing the school from the street, it's the last door on your right).

(A) For Parents and Community members wishing to contact the Board regarding a specific school, teacher, or child, they are encouraged to begin at the level closest to their concern. The Board encourages students and parents to discuss their concerns and complaints through informal conferences with the appropriate teacher, principal, or other administrator.
(B) Whenever a community member wants to give input to the Board on issues regarding the school district, they should communicate with the entire Board and the Superintendent in one of the following ways:
1) E-mail the Board and/or the Superintendent at the following:
Karen Riordan, President - kriordan@pottervalleyschools.us
Katie Delbar, Clerk - kdelbar2@pottervalleyschools.us
Martin Vogt - mvogt@pottervalleyschools.us
Lisa Humphrey - lhumphrey@pottervalleyschools.us
Elaine Lindelef- elindelef@pottervalleyschools.us
Rick Kale, Superintendent - rkale@pottervalleyschools.us
*Note: In order to avoid violation of the Brown Act, Board Members cannot respond to other Board Members; They may only respond to the individual who sent the email.
2) Send a letter to the Superintendent, Rick Kale, at:
Potter Valley Community Unified School District
PO Box 219
Potter Valley, CA 95469
If the letter notes that the Board should receive a copy, the Superintendent’s office will be certain to distribute it to all Board Members. When you send a letter to the Board, please also send a copy of the letter to the Superintendent at the above address or by dropping it off at the District Office.
3) Schedule a meeting with the Superintendent by calling 707-743-2101
4) Attend a Board Meeting and speak either during ‘Public Comment’ if the issue is not on the agenda or after the Board President asks for public input when the Board is reviewing a particular agenda item. In the event that a community member is unable to attend a Board Meeting and wants to express an opinion on an agenda item, they may either send an e-mail or a letter to have read during public comment.
