Potter Valley's normal enrollment area extends from Redwood Valley to the Lake County line north of Highway 20. We accept students from outside this area on a case by case basis. Getting InvolvedPotter Valley School has a School Site Council. The Council acts as a liason between parents and administration and is responsible for directing some budgetary spending. Parents are encouraged to attend SSC meetings, which are generally held the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the elementary library at 3:30 pm. Call the office at (707) 743-1115 to confirm the time of the next meeting. Parents are always welcome to help at the school in classrooms or with larger projects. A Parent-Teacher-Student Organization organizes a fall book sale and Grandparents' Day. School Board meetings are generally the 2nd Wednesday of each month (except July) at 6:30 pm in the High School library, on the west end of campus facing the parking lot. Call the office at (707) 743-1115 to confirm the time of the next meeting. Lost and FoundWe urge parents to label clothing for easy identification. A lost article box is located in the office. Children and parents are welcome to check it any time. Unclaimed articles are donated to a worthy charity in December and June.
